Litigation Communications

Litigation is a cost of doing business, but for many companies, that cost, and the attendant reputational damage, may be growing too high. Today, companies managing serious litigation threats and opportunities not only require highly skilled legal representation to manage their cases, they also need expert litigation communications counsel to maximize these prospects or manage and mitigate the reputational harm that rapacious litigation can inflict on a company.

Meet Vision360 Partners! We are pioneers and leaders in the specialized field of litigation communications and bring unparalleled depth and range of experience to this work.

We’ve worked effectively and successfully with dozens of global law firms and litigation boutiques representing many industry-leading companies.

We have engaged on:

Why You Need Litigation Communication

Nuclear Verdicts

Fueled by plaintiff-driven misperceptions, nuclear verdicts in growing numbers of cases are reaching hundreds of millions and even billions of dollars – large verdicts equal big headlines.

Reputation Protection

Plaintiffs leverage the growing reach of legal media and social media to taint the reputations of products, companies and their conduct before parties ever set foot in court for trial.

Mitigating Investor Risk

Investors increasingly track litigation developments as it is a major risk factor for the companies they support or follow.

Plaintiff Recruitment Advertising

Litigation funding and advertising tend to follow the money – meaning, they go where there are perceptions of large payoffs.

Stakeholder Confidence

Employees, customers, vendors, investors and other key stakeholders may lose confidence in companies that don’t appear to be fighting back when sued in court and/or fail to defend themselves in the court of public opinion.

Public Expectations

Polling data today shows that many Americans expect companies not only to meet the letter of the law, but also a subjective test of corporate responsibility.

Choosing a Litigation Communications Firm

What to Consider

Like medicine and law, public relations has many different kinds of practitioners, each with their own areas of specialization. If you are very sick with a heart issue, you want a cardiologist with deep experience treating patients with your specific condition. Similarly, if you are being sued in a bet-the-company case, you want a legal professional who specializes in the relevant area of law and has an extensive and positive track record.

The same is true for litigation communications, and maybe even more so because this area of communications has relatively few firms and professionals with deep experience in it. Many firms may dabble in litigation-related work, but very few firms have decades of full-time practice in litigation communications and the range of experience that we have.

We don’t just practice litigation communications – we literally helped create the field.

"Vision360 Partners are pros from top to bottom. I have had the good fortune of working with them for more than a decade on matters around the globe. In every instance, they exhibit strong communication and analytical skills, along with the ability to identify potential issues and adapt to changing situations, while also prioritizing client needs and keeping larger strategic goals in mind. Chris Campbell
DLA Piper

I’ve worked with the Vision360 team on many high-profile and high-stakes litigation matters across different companies, and they are consistently best in class. They work seamlessly with legal and communications teams, help clients anticipate what is coming around the corner, and their strategic and insightful counsel and service is spot on – reflecting their deep knowledge and experience.

Malini Moorthy
General Counsel, argenx

"Over my career -- leading high-profile litigation in private practice and managing crises and critical legal matters as a corporate general counsel -- I’ve worked with many communications firms and seen both their value and limitations. There is no firm more strategic, experienced and savvy than Vision360 Partners and they should be at the top of the list for any company needing thoughtful and strategic communications support for critical litigation and crisis management."

Scott Partridge
Partridge LLC Law Practice

“Vision360 should be on every law firm and corporate counsel’s list for communications support. The firm has a unique ability to communicate complex legal issues to media and other audiences persuasively, creatively and effectively. Over six years, Vision360 has designed and executed communications campaigns that have helped LCJ deliver material changes to judicial rules in federal and state courts. These include the “Don’t Say Daubert” campaign to keep junk science out of our courts, and the “Rules4MDLs” campaign that resulted in the first-ever rule designed expressly to govern multi-district-litigation (MDL) practice that comprises more than 70% of the entire federal civil docket.”
